7 LOVE questions you must ask

Sometimes just asking is the right question.   Enjoy

What is the first thing you think of when you hear the word “love”?

What makes love last?

Is it more important to love or be loved?

When is the last time I said “I love you”?

What is the difference between falling in love and being in love?

What do you love most about yourself?

What stands between you and love?

Who do you love and what are you doing about it?

Reflections & Connections – Questions to ask before you start a new year

At the cusp of a new year, most of us take a little time to reflect on our lives by looking back over the past and ahead into the future.  There’s something encouraging and natural about using a fresh calendar page to make new goals in your life.  We ponder the successes, failures and standout events that are slowly scripting our life’s story.  This process of self-reflection helps us maintain a conscious awareness of where we’ve been and where we intend to go.  It is pertinent to the organization and preservation of our long-term goals and happiness.   When it comes to finding meaning in life, asking the right questions is the answer.

What went well for you in 2011?

What situation, feeling or relationship should you not carry-over  into another year ?

If not now when?

Are you living or just existing?

Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?

Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?

What would you regret not fully doing, being, or having in your life?

What promise to yourself do you still need to fulfill?

What would make you smile right now?

What has fear of failure stopped you from doing?

Give Props to Gratitude

Studies on actively engaging in gratitude have shown that it has an enormously positive effect on our lives. Yet in the go-go bustle of our day-to-day activities, and the pressures and stress of modern life, it’s easy to lose touch with it.

Let spending time on the following questions will increase the positive affects in your life.  Enjoy

What are you most grateful for?

What does gratitude feel like?

What sustains you on a daily basis?

What makes life easier?

If you had only one wish, what would you wish for?

What is different today than last year that you are grateful for?

How am I fortunate?

Who do you appreciate the most? and do they know?
