Let’s go shopping OR I miss Chicago
February is my birthday month and yes, I try to celebrate all month (more about that later). Part of that celebration is to buy a gift for myself. Madison the city I love, does not hit the spot for me when it comes to shopping. I lived in Illinois for 8 years and I miss shopping in Chicago. Chicago had so many more store options than we have here. I miss Filene’s Basement, Nordstrom’s, Chernin Shoes, just to name a few. On the way to Chicago from Madison of course you have to pass the mecca of shopping IKEA.
Today is my tribute to Chicago. The photos are from time my time spent there this fall and yes I had a ball shopping on (ok right off) the Magnificent Mile. Enjoy
