We often get so caught up in day to day life that we forget what is important without even realizing it. Rather than looking at the big picture of our lives, we focus only on what is right in front of us. We concentrate only on those things that seem important to get us from day to day. The sad thing is, by doing this, we risk missing out on what is truly important in life.
How would you live your life if you had a week to live? How would you live your life if you had 5 years left to live?
What’s more important to a relationship: common values or other commonalities (like tastes in music, interests, etc.)?
Would you rather be insane in a functional society, or one of the people running a profoundly dysfunctional society?
Does your happiness depend on your health?
If you lost everything tomorrow, whose arms would you want to run into? Does that person know how much they mean to you?
What do you believe stands between you and complete happiness?
At what point are we good enough?
Is sometimes being silent more effective than speaking?
